Overview
When the Central Otago Summer sun is shining and you’re desperate to cool off, picking a holiday home close to Lake Wanaka is a no-brainer, and Number 3 should be top of your list. This spacious vacation rental is less than 5 minutes walk to the lake, making a cool dip on a hot day a reality in no time at all! Great for families, the four bedroom property has a large open plan living area with full kitchen, dining area and lounge space. Glass doors open up the space to the outdoor entertaining area, complete with alfresco dining table, umbrella and BBQ, creating fantastic indoor—outdoor flow. In the cooler months, a log burner provides warmth and ambience, or simply turn of the heat pump year round to keep the temperature just right. A double garage and plenty of off-road parking makes this a great pick for your family if you have a boat or jetski that you want to park up when you’re not out on the lake.
Number 3 has 4 bedrooms over two floors. Downstairs, the master bedroom enjoys its own area away from the rest of the rooms offering privacy. There is a walk-in wardrobe meaning no need to live out of your suitcase, plus a private ensuite bathroom with a shower. The remaining three bedrooms are upstairs, sharing use of the other bathroom with a bath tub and a shower. There is a king room, plus two super king rooms which can be split into twin rooms also. An air conditioning unit on the upstairs landing helps keep this area cooler in the summer months. There’s even a glimpse of the lake from the top floor! As well as being close to the lake and the famous local landmark “That Wanaka Tree”, this vacation rental is walking distance from the town centre, or an easy few minutes in the car. Better yet, rent mountain bikes and you can whiz into town in no time at all, or pack the bikes onto the bike rack and head out to Bike Glendhu for an adventure. The minimum stay at Number 3 is 3 nights.
