“This is honestly the most amazing holiday rental I have ever seen. Four very comfortable bedrooms and a beautiful open plan living room and kitchen which looks out over a delightful garden with stunning views out to the mountains. There is a huge garage downstairs which makes it easy to store ski gear overnight. The garden has an amazing hot tub. There are also BBQ facilities, although we didn’t use them being winter. The kitchen is incredibly well equipped and it’s great to have things like condiments & oils etc available when you are only there for a short period of time. I was a little hesitant at first of the location as too far to walk into central Wanaka but it was super easy to order taxis and then only a 5 minute drive into town (Yello are awesome). Definitely worth the more remote location for the superior property and stunning views. …….and definitely dine at Muttonbird if you are in Wanaka!”

“Great house with family friendly layout that worked well for our family of four but could easily have two families of four in there as well. Heating worked well and kitchen was equipped with necessary appliances and crockery. We enjoyed the outdoor fire for marshmallows and the view over the mountains. Would definitely stay again.”

“We absolutely loved our stay in Wanaka. The views are breathtaking, everything was within walking distance, the apartment was clean, warm and had everything we needed. I loved the way they had left non perishable food in the cupboards like jams and oil and spices. It made it so easy to just get our fresh food and do all our cooking at home. Highly recommend staying here, when we come back I will definitely try and book again.”

“We had a terrific 8 nights staying at Genoa. The apartment is terrific and the drying cupboard very necessary after a big day of skiing. We finally saw gorgeous views of Lake Wanaka (completely occluded last year by the inversion) so were very happy with that!”

“We were a family group of 8, stayed at Korari House for a week in winter. The house was perfect for our needs, from bedroom configuration, separate en-suites for each bedroom, two large and very comfortable indoor lounge areas, and well appointed kitchen for large scale meal preparation. The garaging, ski-gear drying, and laundry facilities were also excellent. Also, the view from the upstairs lounge was outstanding. The weather was too cold for us to enjoy any of the outdoors living areas. We were very pleased with our booking!”

“Ranger’s Retreat is a true gem in the beautiful countryside near Wanaka and Lake Hawea. Super private and with all the space and amenities needed. The team is very responsive (special thanks to Cinzia) and you can tell that the owners put a lot of thought into their property and still enjoying this retreat, nested in the rolling hills, from time to time.”
