Lake and mountain views, spacious living areas and stylish furnishings are all to be enjoyed at Penshurst, a four-bedroom holiday home close to Wanaka town centre. This family friendly property is in a great location, with one of Wanaka’s many walking and biking tracks on its doorstep making access into the town centre a breeze. The tastefully furnished open plan living area faces Lake Wanaka, offering a fully equipped kitchen, dining area and lounge space. Large sliding doors opening up the space to the deck outside to create fantastic indoor-outdoor flow in the warmer months and really show off the views on offer here. Outdoor sofas and chairs mean you can relax with a cool beverage and look out to the lake, while someone fires up the BBQ and cooks up a feast to enjoy alfresco at the outdoor dining table. Once you’ve eaten, hop in the spa pool and relax and unwind after a day of exploring wonderful Wanaka.

As well as the main living area, which surrounds a wood fireplace, there is an additional media room offering groups space to spread out, or a hideaway for the children to watch movies on a rainy day. A designated office space means if you do need to do some work from home, you can do so. The four bedrooms are spread over both levels, with one super king room with an ensuite downstairs, and the three remaining bedrooms upstairs. The master bedroom is on the top floor, facing the lake, also with its own ensuite bathroom. The two remaining bedrooms – a queen room and a bunkroom – share the main bathroom, which has a bathtub and shower. There is plenty of space on the driveway to park cars, plus storage space in the garage for bikes and paddleboards. Guests can easily stroll into town for a coffee and bite to eat at one of Wanaka’s many fantastic cafes & restaurants. The minimum stay requirement at Penshurst is 3 nights.
