Overview

Minaret Ridge is the perfect option for families looking for a Wanaka holiday home that is close to the action. Situated in a desirable Wanaka neighbourhood with some great swimming spots nearby, the modern property has a lovely, bright open plan living area opening up to a large garden – perfect for the kids to play while the adults relax inside with a beverage. Leather sofas surrounding a log burner make for a great spot to unwind after a Winter’s day on the slopes, while the teenagers can watch television in the separate media room next door. The walking and biking tracks around the lake are within walking distance, as well as the Sticky Forest mountain bike tracks – a great way to get the adrenalin pumping!

The holiday home has four good-sized bedrooms, tiled bathrooms and a separate powder room. There is a study nook in the separate media room area, so if you do need to get some work done in between sampling Wanaka’s many activities, you can easily achieve this. The double garage, which offers plenty of space to store your ski gear and mountain bikes, is also home to a table tennis table – a great addition for a friendly game of ping-pong. The kitchen is spacious and fully equipped with everything you need to create a family feast, with stylish contrasting tiles and a large island providing a great spot for entertaining. Wanaka township is an easy 5minute drive away, making it easy for guests to sample the many fantastic cafés and restaurants on offer. The minimum stay at Minaret Ridge is 4 nights.
