If you like your holiday accommodation to come with a bit of character, Mt Roy Terrace could be a great option for your next trip to Wanaka. The spacious holiday home is filled to the brim with art – whether that be the bright pieces adorning the walls, or the quirky figurines dotted around the place, there’s certainly not a lack of personality here. The property boasts a bright, open plan living area with a stylish black kitchen and a walk-in pantry, which is home to a family of brightly coloured gnomes on the shelf waiting to greet you. These aren’t the only gnomes you’ll find at the holiday home – why not keep the children entertained hunting them all down! A giant gorilla lamp provides ambience in the lounge area, which houses a large corner couch and a couple of plump sheepskins beanbags – a great spot to put your feet up and enjoy a drink after a day exploring Wanaka.
The holiday home has four bedrooms, with two that can be split into twin rooms. The master has its own ensuite with large tiled shower and double vanity. The remaining bedrooms share another tiled bathroom with bathtub and shower. Situated an easy drive into Wanaka town centre, the holiday home is on an elevated spot with mountain views to admire and a fantastic outdoor entertaining area to make the most of all year round. Complete with an outdoor fire, BBQ and ample seating, this spot is perfect to enjoy after a big day on the slopes in Winter, or to relax with friends and watch the sun go down after a long, hot Summer’s day. There is also a spa pool for guests to enjoy a soak! There’s ample parking on the large driveway for cars, boats or jetskis, as well as some garage space to store your ski gear, mountain bikes or other toys.

All rates are quoted in New Zealand dollars and include GST. Rates shown are indicative 'from' rates and may vary depending on your dates, length of stay, number of guests and seasonal demand.
Peak-season rates and longer minimum stays may apply, over major holiday or event periods.
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required for bookings made more than 60 days before arrival. The remaining balance is due 60 days before arrival. Bookings made within 60 days of arrival require full payment.
A booking management fee applies to all reservations.
A refundable security bond is required for every stay. The bond starts from $NZD 1,000 and may be higher depending on the property, nightly rate and length of stay.
Standard check-in is between 3:00 pm and 5:00 pm, with check-out by 11:00 am. Early arrivals and late departures are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
Guest numbers must not exceed the confirmed occupancy. Parties, events and additional visitors require prior written approval. Smoking is not permitted, and pets are accepted only at selected properties with prior approval.
Villas, holiday homes and apartments are not commercial entities like hotels. Properties offered by Release NZ are often booked well in advance and can be difficult to re-rent at short notice. Payments are therefore non-refundable if a guest cancels. We strongly recommend that all guests take out comprehensive travel insurance to protect against cancellation charges, medical expenses, travel disruption and other unforeseen circumstances that may prevent them from travelling.
Only the services and amenities listed under Inclusions are included in the accommodation rate. Additional housekeeping, private chefs, provisioning, transfers, activities and other concierge services can be arranged separately.
