Overview

Roys Peak Farmhouse is an architecturally-designed private villa, nestled on 50 acres of farmland right on the shores of Lake Wanaka. The four-bedroom vacation rental home enjoys jaw-dropping views of the lake, with the backdrop of Roys Peak adding to the beautiful vistas on offer. Use the spacious private grounds to relax and enjoy time with family & friends, or simply as a base to explore the region’s ski resorts, world-famous vineyard and renowned hikes. The single level dwelling opens onto a wraparound deck, connecting with a schist flagstone patio that features an al-fresco sitting and dining areas. The hot tub nestles into the patio, offering beautiful views across the lake while you ease your weary legs after a day adventuring in the hills. Clad in stark aluminium, the interior is decorated with chic, relaxed luxury. Oak floors, spruce ceilings and a schist stone window seat are offset with warm woollen rugs and throws.

The open plan living area features a wide galley kitchen providing everything you need to whip up a delicious dinner with local produce to enjoy at the dining table, which enjoys expansive lake and mountain views. After dinner, relax in the lounge and enjoy a glass of Central Otago beer or wine while the children enjoy a movie in the media room. The master bedroom has its own wing, enjoying unimpeded views of the mountains and lake, and with use of its own ensuite bathroom, walk-in wardrobe and office space. Bedrooms 2 and 3 face north, with their own access onto the deck and views of the lake. A separate sleepout, complete with a television, basic kitchenette and large bathroom, houses an additional queen bed and a set of bunkbeds. There is a laundry and drying room for ski gear, plus a garage for storing the toys. Behind the garage, on a small rise, you’ll find the sauna – the perfect place to relax and rejuvenate! Direct access to the lakeside Millennium track into Wanaka makes this the perfect private escape for your next Wanaka adventure.
