A beautiful tree-lined driveway marks the entrance to Mt Barker – a stunning private residence nestled in the mountains just outside of Wanaka, a perfect family escape. This gorgeous property has jaw-dropping lake and mountain views and is set in a private, secluded location, yet only 10 minutes drive from Wanaka town centre. Stepping into the property, you climb the spiral stone staircase up to the living area, which has beautiful vaulted ceilings and exposed beams. This holiday home has stylish furniture throughout, with a modern kitchen and dining area, leading through to a living area complete with open fireplace.

The property boasts plenty of outdoor entertaining areas. Leading out from the living area, stone steps lead down to a patio area, where you can relax and have a wine while admiring the stunning views. To the rear is beautiful, sheltered courtyard area. There is also a large spa pool to relax in after a day exploring Wanaka. The property has 5 bedrooms sleeping up to 10 people – perfect for families or groups. The master bedroom has an ensuite with bath and shower, with the remaining 4 bedrooms split into two areas, each sharing a bathroom. One wing of the property is separate to the main house, accessible through the courtyard. Minimum stay at Mt Barker is 4 nights.
