Overview
Lakeside Road is a spacious, family friendly holiday home situated a stone’s throw from the lake and an easy walk into Wanaka town centre. The contemporary vacation rental property is split over three floors, boasting a large, open plan living zone taking up the entire middle level of the house which enjoys views of the lake. Here you will find a fully equipped kitchen, a large dining table and multiple separate seating areas – perfect for families or groups looking for space to spread out. The living area has two fireplaces – a cosy open log fireplace and a gas fireplace – creating a warm, ambient environment to allow for some serious unwinding and relaxation! In the warmer months, guests can sit out on the front balcony and enjoy a cool beverage while watching the sun set over Lake Wanaka, or cook up an alfresco feast in the BBQ area in the garden at the rear of the property while the kids play on the lawn. If you enjoy a sauna, there is one on the ground floor, plus some exercise equipment if you like to keep up the gym routine while you’re away on holiday. There is also a pool table and table tennis table for a friendly family competition!
The bedrooms are on the top floor, with the large master bedroom enjoying amazing views of the lake & mountains. This room has its own ensuite bathroom, where guests can relax in the bathtub and look out to the lake. The remaining three bedrooms share the use of a large family bathroom with another bathtub and a shower, plus a separate powder room. The laundry is also on this level, with a washing machine and dryer for guests to use. Location is definitely a big selling point of this property, with the lake literally over the road. The marina is close-by, making this perfect for guests with boats or jet skis, while the town centre is within easy walking distance for those that want to go into Wanaka and sample some food and drinks at some of the amazing cafes, restaurants and bars on offer here. Why not rent bikes and head off around the lake to find a quiet, private swim spot to enjoy?

Important Booking Information
All rates are quoted in New Zealand dollars and include GST. Rates shown are indicative 'from' rates and may vary depending on your dates, length of stay, number of guests and seasonal demand.
Peak-season rates and longer minimum stays may apply, over major holiday or event periods.
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required for bookings made more than 60 days before arrival. The remaining balance is due 60 days before arrival. Bookings made within 60 days of arrival require full payment.
A booking management fee applies to all reservations.
A refundable security bond is required for every stay. The bond starts from $NZD 1,000 and may be higher depending on the property, nightly rate and length of stay.
Standard check-in is between 3:00 pm and 5:00 pm, with check-out by 11:00 am. Early arrivals and late departures are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
Guest numbers must not exceed the confirmed occupancy. Parties, events and additional visitors require prior written approval. Smoking is not permitted, and pets are accepted only at selected properties with prior approval.
Villas, holiday homes and apartments are not commercial entities like hotels. Properties offered by Release NZ are often booked well in advance and can be difficult to re-rent at short notice. Payments are therefore non-refundable if a guest cancels. We strongly recommend that all guests take out comprehensive travel insurance to protect against cancellation charges, medical expenses, travel disruption and other unforeseen circumstances that may prevent them from travelling.
Only the services and amenities listed under Inclusions are included in the accommodation rate. Additional housekeeping, private chefs, provisioning, transfers, activities and other concierge services can be arranged separately.
