Overview

Strikingly designed in timber and glass, Whare Kea is a lakeside private villa on the edge of Lake Wānaka. Set against the dramatic backdrop of the Southern Alps, this award-winning lodge has been transformed into an exclusive use villa offering a private retreat for up to 12 guests.

With its light-filled interior and spectacular vistas, Whare Kea provides luxurious holiday accommodation for families or groups of friends wishing to soak up the splendour of Wānaka and the Southern Lakes from a private location.

There are six spacious and comfortably finished bedrooms. The fully equipped kitchen allows guests to self-cater whilst looking out at the stunning vistas over Lake Wānaka. Alternatively, you may choose to dine out in one of Wanaka’s restaurants or ask us to arrange a private chef to cook for you all at home.

Outside, a perfectly placed hot tub invites you to soak up the views, and there’s ample space for access via helicopter too.

Minimum stay is 4 nights.
