Description
Wanaka is the perfect location to base yourself in the South Island of New Zealand. There are some amazing, remote locations to see around the South Island and the good thing is, you can do it in a day from Wanaka. We will organise everything for you, from pick up to drop off.
Don’t have time to visit Fjordland or Mt Cook? We can make it happen. Head off via helicopter to explore and experience places that are inaccessible by road or just too far away to drive. It’s amazing what you can do in a day!!
See our suggested itinerary below for a 1-day Adventure – this can be customised just for you, so please get in touch for more information.

Heli Charter
Set off on your own private Heli charter, just you and your family with a pilot and guide. Take in some jaw dropping views over the Southern Alps then head out towards the coast and over the Fjords to Dusky Sound, where you will land on a custom built floating helipad.
Professional Guide
You will be escorted on your trip by a local professional guide. They will keep you informed of what is happening and fill you with historical facts about Dusky Sound. They will be there to answer any questions you have and guide you on your ‘bucket list’ day out.
Boat Cruise
Once you have landed in Dusky Sound, you will board your private boat and take a cruise around one of the most remote places in New Zealand. You saw the Fjords from the sky; now it’s time to see them from the water. A stunning sight, so don’t forget your camera.
Gourmet Lunch
A delicious lunch will be provided on your private boat, so sit back and enjoy the view while you indulge in some local delicacies. Maybe a crayfish or two with a glass of champagne, sound like you?
Fishing
All equipment will be provided if you fancy a bit of sea fishing. Your guide will talk you through the ins and outs of fishing in the Sounds. Be careful not to hook a seal or a dolphin as I’m sure they will be coming to say hello at some point during your trip.
Private Chef
After a busy day out the last thing you want to do is cook, right? We will organise a private chef to cook your group a gourmet meal, so you can sit and relax, reminiscing about the amazing day you have had while sipping on a glass of local pinot noir.
